I love you and miss you tremendously Grandma Reenee. I am always thinking about you.

To the woman who served as a shining example of care and consideration. I will always appreciate everything you taught my mother and in turn was taught to me. Your gentle kindness and acceptance of everyone is inspiring and I strive to interact with others like you have.

I will always try to accept others into my home with love and grace. Your strength amazes me and I truly appreciate and feel blessed to have had you as a Grandmother, even if the time with you was cut short.

Sometimes life feels so unfair, when good kind people get sick. It seems so unnecessary, you were already 82! Why not just live out your time in peace. You made it so far and through so much, I don’t have the answer to that. I wish you didn’t have to go through that, but even through all the hardship your strength came through.

I miss you so much and sometimes wish I could just be folded into your arms, see you smile and say “hi baby”. I am thinking of you today, hoping wherever you are you are at peace and happy.

So much love.

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
